Our B&B is set in a natural setting of 2.5 acres surrounding the house and is adjacent to a 20 acre land trust reserve. Our property over looks the Kachemak Bay, majestic mountains and breathtaking glaciers.
Close to all that Homer has to offer, the Spit, Airport, Fine dining, Wedding venue and town center 2 miles away. So near and yet our quiet setting is surrounded by tall trees, alders and raspberry bushes; it has a small stream, and is perfect habitat for wildlife.
We are family friendly and can accommodate 10 people so call for special arrangements and pricing. We offer 3 rooms: Island View deluxe queen with private entrance dining/sitting room and bathroom, Glacier view Suite with en suite bathroom, private deck, 3 Bears Room with private bathroom and perfect for solo traveler or a group of 3.
The rustic homestead cabin, our Island View suite is connected to the main house offering all the modern conveniences but keeps the cozy cabin feel. The picture window looks out on the Spit, the islands in the bay and the beautiful summer sky. Private dining/sitting room gives you the feeling of being at home. A perfect hideaway for honeymoon couples.
Glacier View Suite is very spacious and by using the futon room can fit a family of 4. The balcony with its panorama views is a nice place to relax or wind up the day. It has everything you need and is very private.
Three Bears room is a cozy room with private bathroom, It is economical for the solo travel or for buddies traveling together.
All breakfasts are homemade with local ingredients. Vegan and special diets can be ordered. Choice of 3 seating times 7:30, 8:15 or 9:00. Early bird takeaway breakfasts can be ordered the night before.
2.5 miles out East End Road means we are close to town 5 minute ride to shops, 10 minute ride to airport, 15 minute ride to Spit shops. Taxi services are available. We can shuttle you to the airport between 9:00AM and 10:00PM.
